ARE’s Patented 1700 Ballasted Foundation System can support heavy poles up to 150’ for most broadband configurations and a moment of 2,000,000 foot lbs.
Similar to other ARE foundations, we use a central hub or kingpost which bolts to trays and truss arms to give the foundation rigidity bringing the diameter to 21 feet. Side-walls that easily drop into keyed posts will support any fill which total 100 tons when installation is complete.
Installation of the foundation and pole can be done in 3 days by a 4 person crew once proficient at installing our systems and with the right tools and a telehandler.
Pole designs can include tilt-up models raised with hydraulic rams up to 150’ or conventional monopoles to its maximum capacity.
